Trivandrum Bible College
A Project of New Life Ministries
Campus Life Activities

The campus life of TBC is one of its most important concerns, since it gives considerable contributions to the growth and development of personality, spiritual life, public relations etc. TBC provides boarding facilities to both men and women. The Administration closely observes their physical, and spiritual needs and make sure that they all feel at home. Guidelines are given to the students from time to time for a smooth and pleasant campus life

The TBC campus has a family atmosphere as most of the faculty and staff including many of the administrative officers are staying in the college premises. It is a great privilege to have times of interaction, prayer, worship, and fellowship together. Students have the freedom and access to the faculty and staff members for consultation, counseling and prayer. Phone facility also is made available for students and staff in the campus in their own hostels and quarters. In case of illness, they are given immediate attention by the authorities concerned, and even to take them to the hospital for treatment.

Much importance is given to the involvement of students in spiritual activities. On Campus, students have their morning devotion every day. Boys and girls gather separately for family prayer every evening when they take turn to share God’s Word. Night prayer is arranged on every Friday. And on every Sunday there are services in the morning and evening. For Sunday evening services senior students are given chance to preach.

Chapel service is conducted in all working days in the morning with all students and staff. Students are also given ample opportunities to share God’s Word in these meetings. All these meetings are compulsory for all students.

TBC provides excellent opportunities to the students for their physical and mental growth and to make our campus alive and active. It is done through the constructive competitions in arts, games, sports, literature, debates, social works etc.

Students have to involve in the outreach ministry thrice a week for house visiting, tracts distribution and street/ open air preaching. This is done under the guidance of faculty members. Besides that, native students of this place with the help of others take initiatives for evangelization and conducting cottage meetings.

Three main conferences are scheduled in an Academic Year. The Spiritual Life conference at the beginning of the session; Semester break conference at the beginning of the second semester and the Missionary/Bible conference at the end of the academic session. Special speakers from different places are invited to preach God’s Word.

Apart from theoretical coaching in the classrooms, TBC also involves the students in Practical Witnessing. Open-air-meetings, Tract Distributions, House Visitation, Vacation Bible School, Camps, Conferences and activities with local churches are promoted. During vacation, each student is actively involved in outreach programs under the leadership of TBC staff, NLM missionaries, and Senior pastors in various parts of India.
